The President of African Judo Union officially opens the 43rd edition of the African Judo Championships in Oran, Algeria

The president of the AJU-Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko expressed his feelings of gratitude to the president of the Algerian Federation of Judo-Yacine Silini. This opening ceremony was also marked by the presence of the Wali of the city of Oran-Saïd Saayoud. Mr. Siteny also underlined that Algeria is an essential platform for the development of African and world judo. He also wanted to point out that the president of the FIJ-M. Marius Vizer gives a prominent place to Africa in his development strategy for world judo.
During his speech, the Wali of Oran expressed his appreciation for the organization and holding of these 2022 African Judo Championships in Oran. He also dwelt on the development of sport in the country which hosts major sporting events. He spoke about the next Mediterranean Games which will be held in the city of Oran.
The president of the Algerian Judo Federation-Yacine Silini immediately mentioned the confidence of the African Judo Union to offer the opportunity to organize these African Judo Championships in Oran. He thanked the local authorities and, in the process, wished good luck to all the participants in this competition.
