Doha 2023 IJF ORDINARY CONGRESS - President Marius Vizer: "Judo brings peace, unity and reconciliation to the world"

In his speech, the IJF President commented on the conflicts affecting stability in the world. He affirms that the great family of judo firmly believes in peace, unity and friendship and all the values advocated by judo. International events organised by the IJF around the world serve to inspire reconciliation dialogue between world leaders.
Mr Vizer noted the IJF and the Hungarian government's support for more than 300 refugees. The IJF President thanked the Qatar authorities for organising the 2023 World Championships. He praised Qatar's leaders for their investments in several sectors including innovation, technology, education and sports. Sport supports Mr. Vizer brings autonomy and more democracy to protect human values to build peace, unity and reconciliation.
