CASABLANCA AFRICAN JUDO OPEN 2025 - SENIORS MOROCCO WELCOMES 145 JUDOKAS FROM 25 COUNTRIES AND 4 DIFFERENT CONTINENTS

After the juniors and cadets who were competing on January 16 and 17 respectively, the senior competition started today at the Mohammed VI sports complex.

The AFRICAN JUDO OPEN 2025 SENIORS which is currently being held in Casablanca, Morocco continues today. A 3rd Day of competition after the cadets and seniors who fought the last two days during the AFRICAN JUDO OPEN 2025 CADETS & JUNIORS. The senior judokas who participate are 145 in number, including 93 men and 52 women, and come from 25 countries and 4 continents. The competition is spread over two days, Saturday and Sunday. Seven categories were in action today, the -60 kg, -66 kg and -73 kg for men and the -48 kg, -52 kg, -57 kg and -63 kg for women. This day was marked by the spectacle. The fighters delivered breathtaking fights to pass the elimination stage and reach the final block. The fights were even fiercer to obtain a place on the medal podium.
