The 2021 African Judo Championships ended this Sunday in Dakar in a festive atmosphere with the mixed team competition. Tunisia tops the medal standings by winning the individual and mixed team competitions respectively. The Tunisian selection (men / women) of judo won the title of African team champion (mixed), at the end of the last day of the African championships played this Sunday in Dakar. The Tunisians finish at the top of the standings by winning 5 gold medals during the three days of individual competitions. Senegal finished in second place losing the mixed team final against Tunisia (3-4). Note that the Senegalese team beat Cameroon in the quarter-finals and Gabon in the semi-finals, thus winning a silver medal and four bronze medals collected individually. In this mixed team event (men and women), the selections presented 18 athletes (9 girls and 9 boys). During this event, Morocco and Algeria finished in 3rd place.
