At the end of this last day of individual competition in Dakar Arena, the title among (+78KG) women attributed to the Tunisian Nihel Cheik Rihou and Jaballah (TUN)(+100KG) men. The Algerians Benamadi (-90KG) and Bouamar(-100KG) get the gold. Marie Branser (-78KG) wins gold and offers his only medal to the RDC.

Tunisia concluded the 3rd day of the African Judo Championships by winning 2 other gold medals through Nihel Cheik Rouhou (+78KG) and Jaballah (+100KG). Tunisia wins a total of 14 medals including 5 gold at the end of this third day of individual competition and takes the lead in the medal ranking. This Saturday, Morocco also won 2 new medals. In the ladies, Hafsa Yatim took a silver medal on the (-78KG), while in the men, Mohamed Lahboub won the bronze in the (-100KG) category. Morocco now occupies, with a total of 9 medals, including 4 gold, a silver medal and 4 bronze, the second position in the general classification of this continental competition. Algeria obtained six new medals including two titles during this third day which brings its total to 3 gold medals. Abderahmane Benamadi (-90KG) and Mustapha Yasser Bouamar (-100KG) in the men bring Algeria back to the third place. This third day also marked by the gold medal obtained by the DRC in the category of (-78KG) women. Marie Branser beat Moroccan Hausa Yatim in the final.
