Four categories were in action for this second day. For girls, -63kg, -70 kg and boys, -73kg and -81kg. In the -63 category, the final pitted BELKADI Amina from Algeria against Angolan MUCUNGUI Diassonema. The Algerian wins the gold medal. In the -70kg category, the Malagasy RASOANAIVO RAZAFY Aina Laura flies over this category and beats the Angolan NIANGI Maria in the final. Among the boys, in -73 kg, Algeria won the gold medal. The final pitted DRIS, Messaoud Redouane (ALG) against the Moroccan DOUKKALI Hassan. A very contentious fight between the two judokas who know each other well.
