AFRICAN JUDO UNION-ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY THIS 23rd APRIL IN CAPE TOWN

Good governance and transparency are the key words of the president of the African Judo Union. At this 2019 ordinary general assembly in Cape Town, South Africa, Habib Sissoko to emphasize that all the transactions of the African Judo Union are now made by bank transfer to exert a rigorous control over the finances for more transparency and trust.

A general assembly which was held in serenity and confidence. The members of the African Judo Union who represented their respective federations had approved and validated the 6 resolutions that were on the agenda.

Among those present, many took the floor to express themselves in the cordiality. Many expressed their appreciation for the work done by the AJU team. The general treasurer had the merits of assistance for the presentation of the financial report carried out in the total transparency regarding the expenses and accounts updated of AJU. The work and presentation of the Secretary General, Estony Pridgeon and the other directors had also welcome the enlightenment. The appointment of a Marketing Director in the AJU executive committee was approved by the assembly of delegates. At the end of the meeting Mr Sissoko received a distinction from the president of the Egyptian Judo Federation,Motia Fakhr El Din El Zohwi.

The president of the AJU, Habib Sissoko thanked Temba Hlasho- the president of the Federation of South Africa for his warm welcome at this congress and also for the upcoming competition of the 40th African Judo championships in Cape Town which are starting tomorrow with the kata competition.
