Josian Valère elected President of the Mauritius Judo Federation

On January 26, 2019 was held the elective general meeting of the Mauritian Judo Federation. It was preceded the same day by an extraordinary general assembly which adopted the amendments to the statutes. The 11 members of the Steering Committee unanimously elected Josian Valère as new President. The latter is committed to working in the interests of judo. He called on the members to mobilize to ensure optimum preparation of Mauritian athletes for the next sports events namely the African Championships scheduled for April in Cape Town, South Africa and the Games of the Islands and the Caribbean. Indian Ocean that Mauritius must shelter in the month of July.
